Definitely, go for it! I don't think many others read this thread anyways.

Preds 3 @ Kings 4 (OT).

Scoreless after 1, Toffoli put his team high 8th goal on the board to open the scoring in the game in the second, but the Preds would end the period with the next 2 goals: by James Neal & Shea Weber to take a 2-1 lead after 2. Kings would get the first 2 of the 3rd to go up by 1: Toffoli added on to his team leading tally with #9, and Andy Andreoff gave the Kings the lead before Ryan Ellis and the Predators forced the always exciting when your team ISN'T playing in it 3-on-3 overtime. We seemed destined to hit our first shootout of the year, and with 18 seconds remaining in the overtime, Carter blasted home the winner. Pretty good for the Staples Center floor crew too as the Clippers had a home game later on Sunday night. Toffoli with his 2 goals was the first star, Muzzin had 2 assists he got the 3rd star, while Preds center Filip Forsberg added 2 points on 2 assists and was awarded the 2nd star. The winning goaltender was Quick: he stopped 31 of 34 shots; Pekka Rinne took the loss for the Preds as he stopped only 25 of 29 Kings shots. Kings are off to the Midwest for a quick 2 game jaunt and they'll start in Chicago in the madhouse on Madison against the Blackhawks Monday night. Puck drop will be around 8:40. Preds stay in the LA area as they'll take on the floundering, sinking Ducks in Anaheim Sunday night.

Kings 2 @ Blackhawks 4.

Pretty exciting game between 2 of the better teams in the Western Conference (man the Central division is going to be a dog fight). Kings got 2 in the first, but unfortunately couldn't get anything else past Crawford, and a good team like the Blackhawks is going to chip away at that lead. Jonathan Toews got the scoring started in the first, then the Kings got the final 2 of the first: the first from Martinez on a deflection, and the second from Kopitar to lead after 1 2-1, and there was no scoring in the second so they took the 2-1 lead into the 3rd period. Patrick Kane tied the game less than 90 seconds into the 3rd, Teuvo Teravainen had the eventual game winner about midway through the period, and then Artem Anisimov iced the game with a short handed goal. Tough game, but couldn't win all 79 games, and have to regroup for another battle with a Central foe St. Louis tomorrow night. Corey Crawford was the winning goaltender for the Hawks, he stopped 33 of 35 Kings shots and was awarded the 2nd star; while Quick took his first loss since October 14 as he stopped only 22 of 26 Blackhawks shots. Kane was awarded the first star as he had the tying goal and added an assist, while Kings defensemen Jake Muzzin grabbed the 3rd star as he tallied 2 points, both assists in the game.

Next up for the Kings is a short hop to St. Louis to take on the Blues Tuesday, puck drop will be around 8:40 PM, and can be seen nationally on NBCSN; Blackhawks will also be facing the Blues their next game as they'll host St. Louis in the United Center in Chicago on Wednesday night. I believe that game will also be available nationally on NBCSN.

Yup, we are on NBC tonight. Tough loss last night. Crawford was just unstoppable in that 3rd period.

Pretty much the 2nd too and couldn't really fault him for the first goal (Martinez) because it got deflected. Peppered him with shots too, but unfortunately, we shot em at a brick wall which turned out to be Crawford.

Martinez is good on those types of shots. He's a nightmare for the Hawks. Remember Game 7 in OT in the Conference Finals? That one was deflected too.

Kings 3 @ Blues 0.

Who needs Quick when we have Jhonas Enroth?? Obviously, that's a joke, but in 2 starts this year Enroth has faced 64 shots on goal, stopping 63 of them, and grabbing the first start in both of his starts. At least we aren't missing Martin Jones at all, and for the 15-20 games we have to sit Quick (back to backs, rest, etc) it looks like we have a pretty good backup we can put between the pipes that'll give us a chance. Obviously small sample size, but I like what I've seen from Enroth so far in his cameo appearances. Score was scoreless until about 4 minutes left in the second when Carter put home the first goal of the game on the power play to put the Kings up 1-0 after 2. The Kings would add an insurance tally late in the 3rd with a goal by Pearson, and Lewis would tally the final goal for the final margin on an empty netter to complete the scoring. Winning goalie was Enroth, he stopped all 24 shots taken by the Blues, and as mentioned above was awarded the first start. Jake Allen was the losing goalie, he stopped 31 of 33 Kings shots but was good enough for the 2nd star of the night. The 3rd star went to Doughty who had an assist on Carter's opening goal.

Kings will be back at home Thursday night to start a 5 game homestand against the Eastern Conference cellar dwellers Columbus Blue Jackets. Puck drop will be around 10:40 Thursday evening. Blues are back in action Wednesday night as they head to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks in Wednesday night rivalry on NBCSN. Our friend PDF will be at the Jackets game on Thursday night along with the Saturday afternoon game against the Panthers. Enjoy the game, take & post lots of pictures, safe travels out there and most importantly Go Kings Go!

Completely agree about Enroth. Nothing against Quick, but he had some saves last night that Quick might have let through. Very impressed with him after 2 games. I think Quick is actually expected to play 70 games this year, so Enroth may only get 10-12 starts.

That was a very exciting game. For a 0-0 first period, it was exciting. So many great saves by both goaltenders. And remember, the Blues didn't even get a shot on goal until 13 minutes into the game.
