Sad thing is, Gally is my favorite player on that team, but that little hissy fit he threw after their loss to Nashville was beyond ridiculous. “What was he a -1?” Pk, well he leads his team in points and is on route to another deep playoff run. I didn’t like that one bit.

The team needs an entire make over starting with ownership.

Toronto and Winnipeg are doing just fine. It’s that ridiculous Quebecois attitude that is plaguing the team. All of this hype over Drouin reminds me of a few years ago when they acquired Latendresse, hailing him as the next Guy Lafleur. Patrick Roy was right: if his last name were Smith, he’d have probably never been drafted. Enough of this homegrown nonsense. This isn’t 1960. Hockey is all over the world. Seek talent from everywhere, including coaches.

Well, Price is now out due to a concussion, and Weber is going for foot surgery. What an awesome season!

The problem is much more deeper, I heard an audio exterpt in French where they mentionned then the problem of the Habs is the higher staff of the organization looks like the KGB.

I wonder where the Habs would had been had the Canadiens today had chosen Scotty Bowman as general-manager instead of Irving Grundman as well as drafting Denis Savard instead of Doug Wickenheiser back in 1980?

Montreal makes no further trades and also the owner G Molson gives his GM a vote of confidences:

One rumour I heard regarding Bergevin's inaction and hoarding of cap space, is the Habs are going all out to sign John Tavares this summer.

I wouldn't mind that a bit. But it seems a longshot.
