I think Scrivens/ Condit are a pretty good pair of goalies and can keep the team in most games if we can just score a few goals.
Personally i'd trade Price for a player that can score goals.

Paccioretty and Galchenyuk can score goals... If used properly. Notice that since Galchenyuk's been paired with Gallagher and has been playing in front of Subban more he's been scoring? He's a tremendous player whose skills were blocked by Therrien's poor line-making choices.

Seems they are now out of the playoffs,
I'd let Price sit out the rest of the season as theres no point in risking further injury.
I dont know whats wrong with that team but the rot goes beyond just the players.
As an example they just traded a 6 goal player (Pelley) for a one goal scorer (Matteau)
They also just acquired tough guy Mike Brown when they already have a tough guy they never use in John Scott who was the MVP in the allstar game.
The organizations incompetence has lost me as a fan,its depressing to come from a time in the late 70s when Montreal was a hockey dynasty to watching this bunch of bums.

Depressing indeed. Pelly was a solid fourth-liner, and could have quickly become a good third-liner. This Matteau guy isn't even much of a threat at AHL level. Makes no sense.

I'm saddened by this, as I have always rooted for them since I was a kid. I started playing hockey during the 92-93 season, which was a special year in all aspects of the sport for me. I was a huge fan of Koivu's, which was another unfortunate case of organizational incompetence. His talent was completely wasted by having him surrounded by a roster of nincompoops.

This season (and last) I was particularly excited, as I truly believe the team has the skill to take it. Pacioretty, Gallagher, Galchenyuk, Plekanec, Subban, Markov, Price... That's more than enough firepower to at least go deep into the playoffs consistently for several consecutive seasons. To miss the playoffs this season is a complete embarrassment. I wouldn't be surprised if Subban (and a few others) end up on another team in the near future.

Canadians at this point should just shoot for the lowest overall standing to increase their draft potential.
After their phenomenal start to the season what a disappointment this season has turned out to be.

People blaming Subban for the turnover... As if he wasn't the sole reason why the team had 2 points to begin with. The rest of the team needs to step it up. Seems like only he and Gallagher show up consistently every night.

Losing Carey Price really hurt them.

I have to admit, I am amazed. How can a team suffer the collapse they did, I just don't get it.
