I think this is the first year, at least recently (?), that the Finals have aired on national radio.

I doubt it's truly national, as maybe only certain cities are able or have interest in airing them.

I work at night, so it's nice to listen to Kenny Albert (he and his voice, to me, make it seem professional and big-time). I think Steve Greenwood (not familiar with his name) and former goalie (Stars tv broadcaster still?) Daren Eliot round out the team.

It airs in Boston on a CBS affiste, WBZ 98.5 fm, The Sports Hub. It is a major station, airing Pats, Bruins, Celts, and MLS Revolution.

Anybody here listening to it if you can't watch for whatever reasons?

I wonder if it airs in big U.S. radio markets like NY, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, St. Louis, D.C., even L.A.?

I think that any of the Canadian based sports radio stations( that can be found live on the internet ) will have it ) Look for Sports Fan 590 here in Toronto, they will have it for sure.

link. Sportsnet 590 The FAN - CJCL - AM 590 - Toronto, ON - Listen Online

click on the LIVE button and listen to the station live through your computer, for free.

Or you could take a look a CBC TV sports, who cover the NHL Stanley Cup games. It is available online by going to

link. Hockey Night in Canada: Free playoff live streams on CBC Sports app - NHL on CBC Sports - Hockey news, opinion, scores, stats, standings

I listened to Albert on the Sirius XM NHL Network broadcast. I didn't know that was on national radio. He does do a good job and I enjoyed listening.

The nice part of XM radio is choosing the home/away/or national broadcasts. I'm kind of neutral in this Final but do favor San Jose a little. It really doesn't matter a whole lot, though.
