But, if we're going to lose, it softens things a bit to lose to a team that has never won the Cup before. So congrats St. Louis, you certainly earned it.

As players continue to get bigger, stronger and faster, maybe it's time for the NHL to look into shortening the playoffs. First 2 rounds are 3 game series, conference finals a 5 game series and then the Cup final a 7 game series. Both the Bruins and Blues are very banged up from a long, physical 2 month playoff slog. I am going to guess both teams will have a bit of a slow start to the 2019-2020 season. Who am I kidding? The loss on TV revenue will mean the NHL would never do this.
So much for Coyle being your Savior, eh?

I'm not a Blues fan but this felt good anyway. Congrats to them!

Same, I'm not a Blues fan but I think most of the Hockey world that is not a Bruins fan was rooting for them.

Congratulations!!!

The Blues season this year, last in January then a changing of the guard with a new coach and a change of golatenders and being a underdog who became a Cinderella team to win the Stanley Cup. I wonder if some Hollywood directors will do a movie about the Blues championship like they did when the U.S. Olympic team won the Gold medal in Lake Placid in 1980?

St. Louis is no longer giving their fans the Blues.

Congrats Blues fans, know we have a few around here.

Looking back at the season, hard to believe how awful St. Louis looked early on; and then go on to win the SC.

Yeah, I think it's now the Boston Bruins who give the blues to their fans.

Yep. On January 3, St. Louis was in last place in all of the NHL. It's amazing. The 11-game win streak turned their season around.
