I get it as a part of the extended package on Directv so I'm not paying for it directly. It's been cool...but not a must have.
So NHL network is basically the hockey equivalent of NFL network, meaning inside look at teams, interviews, and classic games?

Never watched the NFL Network but yeah that sorta sounds about like it. They show more AHL and ECHL games than NHL games! That's cool and all but when there's NHL action going on, I don't want to see the ECHL.

Yeah, pretty much! They have a daily highlights show, they run lots of classic games, and they simulcast that NHL talk show that runs on XM. But as some other people have mentioned, they don't run a lot of live NHL games, at least not yet.

I flip on TV in the morning while I have my coffee, and inevitably the dish ends up on NHL Network or NFL Network. Sometimes I feel like we're paying our monthly DirecTV bill for just two channels.

Flames take game 1 from the sharks! YES!! The sharks are my second most hated western conf. team, just behind the wangs. Not sure why I hate the sharks the way I do, probably regio-centrism. Pens looked mighty dominant last night.

Daggone Pens! I hope the Sens come back tomorrow with a vengeance and wipe those smirks off Crosby and Kennedys' ugly mugs.

I was glad to see the Rangers draw first blood, what was with Brodeur giving up that 2nd goal??? Yikes!!!

Im also ecstatic to see the Avs one game up on the Wild. Go Avs!!!!!!!

Let's go Devils! Too bad Brodeur has gotten outplayed by Lundqvist this season, including last night.
