As a Kings fan I know Quick isn't long for LA anymore, and I wonder when they pull the trigger on a potential deal, and it is coming sooner or later. Unfortunately, that's a team with cap problems galore, and still has a lot of old, overpaid past their prime veterans that are difficult if not impossible to move, and add on this will be the 4th coach in the 3 seasons since Suter got fired, and it's looking like another bottom of the Pacific & West standings in Hollywood this upcoming year
I though the Bruins did well. They addressed several needs, adding four forwards and a defenseman and added size overall. Size over speed has been their formula for years, but recently they've been going the speed route. Only problem is bigger teams can wear them down in a long series (hence St. Louis). I'm hoping they find the right mix.

I guess The Florida Panthers could be a good fit for Quick with Roberto Luongo who had just retired.
I saw that clip about the downfall of the LA Kings after the 2014 Stanley Cup championship.
Worried my Isles will not resign Lehner or Lee. Don't think any marque players are interested in coming to a team with 2 part time arenas and uncertainty if the proposed Belmont arena will actually get built.
Figure on us getting a couple of cheap old retreads. Corey Perry to replace Lee, Michael Ferlund to replace Clutterbuck who is injured, and who knows what to replace Lehner until Sorokin comes over from KHL. Maybe Kinkaid as he is a local kid and can come cheap.
Reiner from Panthers to Canes. Opens up room for Bobrovski to sign with Panthers? Does Panerin follow to Florida?
I am glad Isles apparently won't get Bob. Now hoping we can still sign Lehner.
Phil Kessel has been traded to the Coyotes for Alex Galyenchuck.
2 players who need a change of scenery
