Default fav's

I have been a huge Dan Cleary fan since he became a Wing. He is always there, a pest, gets tossed around because he's a little guy. Love seeing all the black eyes.

Linden, Kariya, Sakic, Yzerman... Very respectful hockey players, great to watch...

I love to hate Corey Perry and the Flyers... Dirty asses

Why do so many people like boogaard? 6'8 280 lol, still gets worked by anyone he can't turn down, plus he has no talent on the ice or with his fists, just swing until somebody falls, I know this appeals to some people, but I'm a hockey fanatic, am ok with a brawl every now and then, but like to concentrate on the game itself, not just the sideshow to put lower tier fans in some seats, same thing as going to a nascar race to watch the crashes.

Favorites=
Joe Sakic + The Colorado Avalanche

WHoa! breaking news! get the NHL coaches here, 95% of the goalies have been wrong. The point is to create a goaltending system. The point of butterfly goaltending is to play the angles, which can't be done effectively in stand up, especially with deflections, which is why it's been phased out or incorporated into butterfly for the most part. Also, butterfly takes away the bottom of the net, where most players try to sneak it around, while still leaving the rest of your body available to adapt to different shots, glove for one side, blocker, etc. The styles have been merged, it's not as simple as "standing in the right positiong to cover as much of the goal as possible" by standing your covering as little net as possible and easily deceived by offensive players, limiting your reaction to other parts of the net, should it be a feignt. It's easy to 'stand in the right position' before a 100 + km/h shot heads your way through screens and tips and your taking up 20% of the net.
