Lot of trades today.

Canes seem to have done well.

A center and 2 D men.

Gave up a couple of wings as well as a D man.

So I know you are all familiar with the story of Dave Ayers, the zamboni driver who led the Canes to victory a few weeks ago. Well the league had a meeting about whether or not to keep the status quo in place, and it's staying in place! Love the decision.

Islanders are in the midst of an awful collapse. Season started off so well for them too and they have completely hit the wall. They hit the road for 4 games and they may not even be in a playoff position when they come back from that 4 game road trip.

I should have posted that video more sooner but the Blues had posted that clip to celebrate their first Stanley Cup championship.

With the NBA suspending their season the NHL won't be far behind.

So.. Where do we go from here?

Go directly into the playoffs when play can resume, assuming this lasts a few weeks?

No NBA. Don’t care. No MLB. Don’t care. No March Madness. Don’t care. No Disney. Really don’t care. No NHL? Now that’s just not right! What is a 60 yr old married man supposed to do? Talk to his wife?

I think I’m officially in the throws of no hockey on tv withdrawal. I was dreaming 4:15am I was driving on a busy highway and when traffic stopped a goalie in full gear got in the backseat. I got up. Tomorrow morning it’ll probably be Arnold Palmer

Today the NHL , NHLPA had a meeting and here is tentatively what was discussed.

Tournament style play will happen starting sometime in July or early August. All games will be played in Grand Forks N.D. Stanley Cup finals early September.

Draft for 2020-2021 season will soon happen afterwords. The start of the 2020-2021 season will be delayed until November. There will be no All-Star weekend, no buy week and less days off between games.

Stay-tuned.
