I feel for Blues & Wild fans, 80% of their road games this year will end after midnight local time.

Even more than that, ZERO games vs the Blackhawks, Preds, or Stars. That’s removing some major rivalry games.

The Canadian issue has been resolved. Provincial Governments will allow all 7 teams to play on home ice.

Yeah, that's not right. And zero games against Detroit also.

Schedules are set, season starts next Wednesday. If you notice your favorite team schedule, to cut down on travel they often play same team twice in a row two or three days apart.

Yah I think the Rangers and Devils play 4 straight against each other over like a 6 day span. Really weird, and they are the 2 closest teams, so I have no idea why they'd need to play 4 straight against each other.

I like the schedule. No team plays more than 4 home games in a row or 4 road games in a row.

This is going to be a bizarre season with all the re-alignment and constant recurring opponents. I will miss not being able to see the All-Star game and the outdoor games (especially since my team was scheduled to host one!), but I am looking forward to seeing how the season shakes out.

Go 'Canes Go!

Anyone watching WJC? USA is playing Finland now for a crack at gold against Canada. Lots of exciting young players in this tournament.
