Is anybody watching these Bruins this year? Man, they seem to have it all. Tim Thomas is standing on his head. Lucic is hitting everyone in sight. Kessel is just so fast that the defense always backs off him. Savard is an assist master. And there seems to be no weak line. Everyone is clicking, and it's beautiful to watch.
Huge improvement in play this year! Lucic is really coming into his own, and the fact that Bergeron is healthy gives the B's some great depth. If he gets rolling...look out!
Fun to watch, yes. However I can't get my hopes up too much after watching many good Bruins teams in the last decade make an early exit from the playoffs.

Aw come on, get your hopes up a lot! I know it's early, but root hard!
I was living in Boston when Chiarelli was hired. He's done a great job turning a rotten franchise around in a very short time. Claude Julien was a great hire also. Even though I'm a Detroit fan, I could never stand Dave Lewis as a head coach.
It's great to see a couple of original 6 teams like the Bruins and Chicago getting back on track. Great hockey cities deserve good teams. Except for Toronto......those people are so elitist and obnoxious I hope they never see the playoffs again.
Lifelong Bruins fan here, I'm enjoying this season big time. I already have my tickets to the game in Columbus on Mar 10, way down in front in the neutral zone across from the players benches. At least I will get to see the game against the hated habs on VS tomorrow night. What is the deal with Manny Fernandez? I heard he was injured but I also heard a rumor he is about to be traded and the Bruins just called up Tuukka Rask after Kevin Regan was sent back to Providence after being brought up on an emergency basis.
How about Matt Hunwick's first NHL fight, some good camera work by the NESN cameraman.
I'm glad the Bs are coming around. I think the Original 6 need to be successful for the league to thrive AND GET BACK ON A MAJOR NETWORK!!!!
With 'Dollar' Bill Wirtz gone (RIP) the Blackhawks are getting better again, which will help too. You need success in the major US markets on a regular basis to get the sport back on the radar.
