how do I figure what - that this is a poor 1st round matchup for phoenix?
if that's the question it would be because of the 3 potential opponents (LA, NSH, DET) - detroit is the most experienced, they're playing "hot", they are getting healthy and they would give a team like phoenix which struggles on the PP and struggles to gain the zone fits with their style of play
add in the fact that of the 3 they will also have the most fans in the building and that the franchise hasn't won a playoff series in over 20 years and it would be nice to see this season get to at least the 2nd round - it's pretty much a nightmare scenario
