All I gotta say is look at what happened to the Stars right after this guy gets shown the door. They go from "better luck next season" to being in the thick of the playoff hunt. It was like a light switch being turned on! He must have really been a nuisance in the locker room AND on the bench! Best of luck to you Rangers! See ya next year.
I AGREE!!! It has been AMAZING!!! And I'm LOVING IT!!!
Except, during the game the other day we were all talking and there is speculation they may trade 2 players. We are all like "NOOOOOOO!". Not right now when the chemistry with the team is WORKING! Their passing, puck handling and shooting has VASTLY improved. Don't mess w/ a good thing.
Oh, and supposedly Brett Hull is not allowed to make any phone calls that involve player trades

Nope, from what the players have been saying Avery was NOT a welcome sight in the locker room. Most everyone said he was VERY arrogant and that is fans and players. Listen to what even Turco said the day after he was suspended. 99'99% of the time a teamate is going to at least have your back or just be quiet. When that happened w/ Avery the players pretty much spoke their mind.
The Stars have now put Avery on a minor league team that is associated w/ the Rangers. In his press statement Avery said he wants to get back to the game he "loves" and on the ice and appreciates the NHL for allowing him the chance. Now let's just see if he can keep his mouth shut.
"I don't think anyone is pig-headed enough or stupid enough not to take someone back, to forgive and move on. We've all made mistakes. There's not one person in this room who hasn't made a mistake." -- Chris Drury
It isn't that Avery makes mistakes so much as it is he's just overly full of himself and has the social acumen of a mongoose on crack.
You know it is bad when guys on a team that normally ALL stick together actually come out the very day and say that your not wanted in the locker room. Heck, even within the entire NHL the players back each other up. You can be on opposing teams and the players will still have positive things to say about the other player.
"His teammates also indicated he was a divisive personality in the locker room."
Now Hameltoe, let's not be mean....... there are fashion plates and peacocks strutting around like banty roosters in their fancy clothes in every sport. Remember what a natty dresser Joe Namath was? What about Derek Jetter? Maybe they weren't as self-avowed fashion mavens as Sean, but you gotta give him credit.... it takes a man with a secure self-image to admit to such an interest. Remember Rosie Grier needlepointing on the airplane between games to relax him? Whatever works. Live and let live I say.

hes the next dennis rodman... hopefully he wont be wearing any drag clothes!!!
Avery needs psychological help, he may be a fine agitator on the ice, but what is he off the ice?
