Here is some info about Championship. Russia is already in the semifinal. The match Russia vs. Belorussia was tough.

USA won over Finland yesterday as you probably know, so Russia plays versus the US team again. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed as I hope Russia will win.

Yep, they won.
Anyways, Latvia was good too as they scored their second goal when they were only 3 against 5 Canada players.

By the way, I'm curious who is FG? Does anybody know who FG is here on City-Data?

The World Ice Hockey Championship 2009 is over. Russian team sure has won. Russian team are the champions of the world again (no surprise).

Here are the results:
1. Russia (Gold)
2. Canada (Silver)
3. Sweden (Bronze)
