too soon, we need more focus on

Honestly though, they have Toews, Kaner, Hossa, Keith, Sopel, and Sharp (I think) locked up. Neimi is a free agent after this season I believe.

Congratulations Blackhawk fans.

Being an Arizona Cardinal fan, and our run into the SB a couple years ago, I know how sweet this has gotta be. Enjoy the championship...and enjoy the new Bandwagon fans. I don't mean that as a jeer, but that some of them will grow up to be fellow die hards.

Ladd is an RFA also. One place where the Hawks are SCREWED is goalie. Neimi is a RFA this offseason and we have committed 5 mil + to Huet over the next two seasons

Oh well. Looking back in 20 years if this was our one shot, at least we capatilzed. But I think the Hawks are going to be a force for a while.

If they send Huet to the minors does his salary still count against the cap ? As the year goes by someone will need a goalie through injury and they can trade him and eat a little salary ?

Hossa is probably gone. Niemi is a pretty good but not great goaile (not saying he didnt make soe great saves). But hes going to get paid. Nothing says playoff performer like having your name on the Cup.

Is that a typo? We have Hossa under like a 50 year contract.
