He already has two championships under his belt, he earns a comfortable salary, he's still playing for a contending team, and he gets to go back to his home city and play for his home team. Trust me, he's not that despondent.

Yes. We are Cubs fans, we understand the hurt of the loser
Any chance the Bambino can put a good word in for ending the Billy Goat curse?!

Big time hockey fan, Justin Bieber, stands on the logo. For shame

You know, I don't think we're talking about a repeat, a three-peat or even a four-peat. That's right, we're talking a minimum eight-peat.

At this point, I'm just thankful they won on the night they raised the banner, that whole ceremony was so great! Winning made it perfect!

I'm kinda bummed the that 1/2 the roster is in Sochi. I can't make up my mind on this team. I think they are upper echelon of course, but they look like they could run out of gas in the post season.

Hossa! Hossa!

The powerplay is substantially improved lately. What is the difference? #88, that's what.

It's interesting looking back on this post now. I think a lot of us underestimated their ability to go deep into the playoffs, and yet they took it all the way to overtime in game 7 against the Kings in what was the de facto Stanley Cup game -- basically, a formality to see who would murder the Eastern Conference team for the Cup. That was a heartbreaking game/series, but nobody could fault them because we weren't all that confident they'd even get that far.
