Congratulations.......we wish you guys had left Brodeur in net !!!!
I doubt the game would have ended the same way if
Brodeur would have been in net, by the same token
I doubt we would have gone into overtime but for Miller.

While Buffalo is a good "team" and has a good coach they would not be atop their division without Miller to be sure. Hes in for big bucks when his contract is up.....even then Buffalo has a history of not signing players due big contracts or matching offers.
Miller was the lifesaver of the tournament, and there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind about that. I have been a Caps fan since birth (I personally met Langway and Gartner as a youngster), but from this day forth, I will ALWAYS respect Ryan Miller no matter what team he's on. Even the Canadian fans surprised me with immense joy, when they cheered and jumped around for Miller as loud as they did Crosby. That right there shows how much respect people have for him and his abilities, and I dare say that it shows some serious class as well.
I have to admit that I've been really disappointed the entire day since the loss, but both of these teams played so well, and with such heart and fervor, that in the end it really came down to luck. Canada and USA= World Class Hockey, and I believe we can now state that as a fact.
Canada has NEVER won a gold medal when they have hosted the olympics.
While often unsuccessful, It is always their goal to win gold in hockey.
Perhaps with the lucky loonie buried at Center ice, this will be the year.
Can you imagine the Nationwide celebration, if that gold medal just happens to be in Men's Hockey ! ! ! ! !

Half my relatives are Canadian, from the Toronto area, and its a different culture up there than here......they display more respect for their country, their way of life, their culture and others/people than we do......all you have to do is drive along any Canadian roadway or through any Canadian city and observe the complete lack of litter that we see strewn along our American roadways and city streets by a generally classless and disrespectful society.
Canada was the better team this time, but Team USA was the best throughout the tournament! They put on quite a show. Loved every minute (well except for seeing the Swedes go down too early ). Congrats to Canada!
