I'm not going to do a poll because there are probably endless names that I might forget to put on here. I want to know the best 2 way hockey player. My choice is Cam Neely. Guy could score 40 a season, was a solid defender, and could definitely handle scrapping with anyone.

My choice is Bobby Orr.
Most points in one NHL season by a defenseman (139; 1970-71)
Most assists in one NHL season by a defenseman (102; 1970-71)
Held record for most goals in one NHL season by a defenseman from 1971 to 1986 (37 in 1971, broke own record in 1975 with 46.
Held record for most points in a game by a defenseman from 1973 to 1977

I thought this was about two way players?

I liked Steve Yzerman and he's up there with the best, but I'm not going to say he was #1.

First name that came to my mind was Bobby Orr....

But, since Bobby Orr was a defenseman, I thought I'd look at past Selke award winners for best defensive forwards to see who has won ...

Both Bobby Clarke and Ron Francis have won.

But the most recent winner and the winner of the last two was Pavel Datsyuk. I think he just may be the best all time two-way player of all time.
