Do you understand "save percentage" ? It doesn't matter how many shots you have on goal its the actual percentage of shots the goalie stops out of the total shots on goal !!! Leightons playoff save percentage is .948 which means he stops 948 pucks out of a 1000 while Niemis is .921 ...or he stops 921 pucks out of a 1000. If theres 30 shots total and the goalie stops 28 his save percentage is .934. If theres only 20 shots and he stops 19 his save percentage is .950. Goalie contracts actually have bonuses for higher save percentages and goals against averages !!! Everytime you post I think its impossible for you to show less understanding of the game of hockey but you keep surprising me !!! I'm sure glad your rooting for Chicago...
Flyers had a 4-0 advantage in penalties. They had a real lucky goal. Toews, buff and Kaner were off tonight, ladd was out.....Chicago took phillys best and most fotunate shot and still won. Good signs all over.

To recap, Leighton was so good tonight his own coach pulled him.
Wow, that's two home wins in a row. Had they done that yet in the playoffs? They've been strangely at ease tearing up their opponents on the road lately.
