We are planning to do chocolate/brown curtains in a multi purpose bonus room. We have a chair rail and want 2 shades of medium brown which look good together. Most importantly they need to match up with plain chocolate curtains. Any idea on which colors of brown would look good?
If any one has any pics of chocolate curtains with brown wall color , that also would be helpful.
In my house we used chocolate brown on two accent walls, and a cappuchino color on the main wall. We tied it in with chocolate brown and mustard curtains. I have to say, it really looks awesome. My house is on the market and when people come in, they always comment on how pretty it looks!! When we move to NC, I will be using color again in whatever home we get to call our new HOME!

If you don't mind, I would love to see some pictures of your wall.
My sister-in-law just redid her living room, kitchen & hallways on her first floor. She started with a leather brown couch & recliner, also changed her tables in the living room to dark wood & then did amazing colors on the walls. I wish I knew the color names but one of them looked mustard/gold. She also has a chair rail. She used about 4 or 5 different colors & alternated them within that first floor. She also had a light green in there too along with a light mocha color. Her curtains are a pale mocha. The colors are rich & very warm.
Our house has a brown bathtub in the main bath, the previous owners tried to do the whole baby blue/brown thing and failed miserably. We painted the bathroom a color called Coconut Shell from behr (can't remember if it was ultra or not) and it's beautiful. It's deep and creamy, think milk chocolate pudding. We always get a ton of compliments on our color scheme. The other accents in the room are pure white and a pop of lime green.
I got some good advice on my bedroom..thanks everyone...
