I love plantation shutters! But we have to buy for 28-33 windows and I think the price would be too high for them. They are beautiful though!

We are decorating our windows too. We have an older home with large painted window frames which are white. The kind with the bulls eye in the corner. The house is about 100 years old and my decorating tasted are eclectic.

I have opted for the time being at least to use faux white 2" blinds throughout the house because I have not had good experiences with wood in the past.
Plantation shutters would be my first choice but since I am on a budget, this is what I am choosing for now.

It unifies the house and is a good backdrop for furniture and art.
I am not a fan of dramatic window treatments.
This is a nice clean look that works well with a variety of decors and is functional and inexpensive.

I think we are going with the white composite. I spoke to a friend of mine also in the real estate business and she suggessted this as well.

Good luck with your decorating! I hate spending money on stuff like blinds...I would rather spend it on a couch or something But privacy is a must!

Great choice twinmma! I like our style!

Also they are efficient and easy to clean without sacrificing style.

Really what's not to like?
