mixing microfiber with faux leather (colored, light, dark, couch)

I just bought a light brown cocoa-colored microfiber loveseat for my LR. I want to buy a storage ottoman to use as a coffee table.

I saw this at target.com

Can I mix different materials? I don't want to get a microfiber ottoman. I would rather just get a standard coffee table in that case.

I think it would be ok if that is al that is in the room. I wouldn't mix a micro love seat with a leather couch but if the loveseat is the main seating I would give it a try. you can always take it back if you don't like it

Of course you can! It supposed to be used as a coffee table.
I am sure you would not find a coffee table made from microfiber lol

I actually did see a microfiber ottoman online at Target, but I decided to go with the faux leather one and it does look nice:

It's small, but works well in my small LR with a loveseat seating arrangement.
