Hello all

I would really like to get my hands on a modern platform bed but not too interested in paying 1300+ for one.

I was hoping someone with much more know how than myself might be able to lend me some knowledge on the matter.

Are there any work arounds, do-it-yourselfs, or bargains out there to be had in order to get what I would like without paying the premium?

Any help/advice is appreciated!
Thank you in advance

Ikea no doubt. I got a platform from them for a few hundred and i'd put it up against the $1,000+ beds anyday.

My daughter has one from IKEA that she purchased about 2 years ago. She likes it.

thanks for all the replies, its greatly appreciated

Yea I checked IKEA and didnt find what I was looking for

My general taste is that of "modloft" you can checl them out at Modloft Modern Furniture Online Retail & Wholesale

Thing that drives me nuts is when I look at their furniture its not that amazing. and yet their prices are amazingly high IMO.

I was hoping, at least for the bed, that I might be able to track something down similar to the modloft style beds but at a more reasonable price.

Ive had no luck yet...
