Disagree... the chair may be low, but packs a powerful visual punch. A little print will be a big YAWN! An updated version of a retro/asian print will make a definitive "I am important & intentional" statement.

Try picking up a few different cushions - yes, I know they won't fit, but just to see color and or pattern that you might like & then you can return them (don't lose your receipts)... at a spot like Pier 1 or World Market. Try several different prints on the chair. Better yet, if the chair is portable take it in with you, even to a fabric store, just to see what strikes your fancy. You'llknwo when you see it.

It is the asymmetrical shape of the very small seat that will make a large print look distorted and odd - I disagree that a large print would work in this particular seat area for this reason....if the cushion area was a rectangle or square, then I could see a large print...but not on this chair. Double yawn to have to explain this.

Paint it in whole white and put a Plain yellow or plan green cushion.. Its looks nice with the sorrounding colours..
