I don't even know if Pennsylvania House furniture exists anymore. In 2004, their Lewisburg, PA factory was closed by then-owner, La-Z-Boy, and the work was outsourced to China. That ceased in 2007, and the brand name was sold to another manufacturer.

A Pennsylvania House website exists, but only shows TWO collections. If this website is current, it shows a company that is a mere shadow of its original self. This really saddens me...as I sit here typing on my computer at a beautiful Pennsylvania House Queen Anne cherry desk, purchased back in 1997.

They're kind of niche market, but if you like mid-century modern, the new version of Heywood-Wakefield might be worth checking out:

Stickley. No veneer. Solid construction. Can't put it out on the curb when 5 years from now your tastes have changed.

RomWebber was the other company I was thinking of - nice armoires, tables, etc... We have computer armoire and a tv armoire from them, very well made. They're out of Indiana and a very old company. A good mix of traditional/transitional pieces.
