I actually may love this. Leather and teak it appears to be. The problem is the leather is a mess!! Skrinkled and a long tear at the seam on the chair. This is by Skoghaug Industries Norway. Looks to be from the 70's. Can this be fixed? Is this a keeper? Should I sell it for thousands??? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!!! BTW, it has been relegated to an unused room. Hubby and teen son find it disgusting.
I do love the chair - I'd have a hard time living with the leather - the color and the condition. You could take pictures of your chair and take it to a local upholsterer and see if it can be repaired.
I would find a fun fabric for it and reupholster it. My first thought was a tweedy wool - then I did a search and found this picture.
