I walked into an appliance store yesterday looking for a small vacuum to use in my travel trailer, and guess what they had lined up in the front window? RED APPLIANCES!!! I laughed thinking of this thread.
I think I would get so tired to all red appliances....I'd think about the colors that I couldn't introduce into my kitchen...just seems limiting to me but the again they could be really cute in a retro-look or cottage decor kitchen.

Check this one. It would be great for traveling. I have one for a backup when I don't want to lug the big one out. Unfortunately it is orange with goes with nothing
Oh, I'd never get tired of red kitchen appliances; I've wanted a red kitchen since I was a kid. GE made of line of them in the 90s (or maybe it was the 80s -- either way, before my dad retired from GE in 1995), but production was limited. I didn't own a home back then, otherwise I'd have bought me a new red fridge!
Ultimately, I'd want them to be faced to match the cabinets. And all others appliances to look the same, or, at least "hidden" and off the counters. Otherwise, white and hidden when the could be; toaster oven, microwave, coffee pot.
The more textures, the more colors you use in a room make the room look "chopped up", and I hate that.
I have used the stainless wipes - in fact I have some under the sink right now....a small spray water bottle and a microfiber cloth actually work better and in the long run cheaper. I've tried so many things!
Thanks for sharing the tip. Those wipes can definitely get costly.

So just plain water and a microfiber cloth?
Yep - that is it...I found that the stainless wipes (I bought mine at Lowe's) definitely left a film and even showed some streaking unless I wiped the whole appliance with the wipes and then buffed with a towel. I couldn't spot clean with them because the cleaner/polish contained in the wipes left a bit of residue....I tried a couple of different stainless steel sprays also - I think the residue left by the wipes and sprays actually will mark up quite easily when someone touches the appliances...so it is a vicious circle of cleaning and wiping/spraying....much happier with water and microfiber.
Wow, no one is talking about the "clean steel" or stainless steel look. I just bought mine over the weekend. I love the look of stainless steel, since my cabinet are painted a cream color. These appliances do not get finger prints, but give the look of SS. I did notice that the handles of the fridge are SS and the fingerprints are all over them. I would die if the whole front looked like that. I have 4 kids, that's a lot of fingers!
