I'm having the darndest time finding new candles. I want electric plug in style candles with no photosensor. I want either a brass or pewter base. And I want to be able to get triple candles for my larger windows. Any ideas on where to find some?

I would say you are looking WAY too early but when they do come out, check out the "cheep" stores like Walmart, Kmart, etc.

I don't want cheap ones like I have now. I want nice ones. But it's nearly impossible to find them without the damn photosensors these days.....

I bought mine about three years ago from Christmas Tree Hill stores in Rehoboth Beach and they are still available on their website. I have the pewter one with the on/off switch but I don't recall if they had the triple or not. Mine do not have the photo sensor and are electric. Window Candle - Chadd's Ford Pewter Electric Light Also google Christmas tree hill coupons and they have several available. They are not cheap but do last.

We bought single candle electric ones at an after-Christmas sale for 75 cents each. No photosensor. My husband permanently installed them. He built a little plywood table that just fits over each window locking mehcanism and painted the little tables the same color as the window trim - the candles sit on the tables (attached to the little tables). Ran the cords down the outside of the windows (the drapes hide the cord) and behind a sideboard, couch, chests, etc.....they are on all front windows in the house on a timer that comes on in the late afternoon and early morning (going off just as it gets light). He did such a good job - you don't notice the little tables that they sit on or the little bit of cord that shows (it is power stapled down and run along the inside of the window and down the sides to the plugs near the floor). We replace the bulbs from time to time. We have the perfect style house for window candles.

We have the single candles but Brookstone makes the 3-candle candelabras.

electric window candelabras at Brookstone.

Thanks. I don't see any triples but I'll try calling them.

Here is a picture of our porch - you can see the little candle stands that my husband built...the little stands go over the window locking mechanism.

Boy, I have the opposite problem. I want electric with photosensors, but all I could find were battery ones. I'll need to start looking again for this year soon.
