Oh think brown would be a big mistake.
Post pictures or links to pictures of rooms you love and wish you had.

I can't find one dining room that I like..
What's wrong with brown? or brownish? I really like the sandy color. I don't know what it would be called though. Sort of like a goldish tan?
I'm open to suggestions.

You have a french country dining room set.
Brown and french country don't work, especially with your matchy matchy tendencies.
French country is light, usually light colorful. (Brown to me is too dark.)
You can't find one dining room you like?
I'm trying to get an idea of your taste.
For all I know, you like modern looks and the dining room set is all wrong no matter what you do to it.
Show me pictures of living rooms or bedrooms you like.
Edited to add:
I just noticed your change explaining sandy, goldish tan.
What other colors do you want to use with that? What other colors do you like?

I like the breezy curtains in photo #1
Photo #2 has a little bit too much going on.
I like photo #3 the best. Simple, but still pretty.
As far as colors, I tend to lean towards the blues or greens with grayish undertones.

Now we're getting somewhere.
I added a fourth photo, btw. What do you like, dislike about it?
We'll pull all of your answers together and come up with something.
And do you like the curtains in #3 or #1 the best?

In the 4th photo I like the curtains..love the color of the curtains
don't like the urns.
The room feels like it would be claustrophobic.. maybe because there's a tablecloth on the table.
I like the curtains in photo 1 the best.
In #3 I like the mix of patterns too.

I'm just going with Pottery Barn to find some examples quickly.
Pottery Barn Dupioni Silk Pole Pocket Drapes
There's a better picture of the color here, but you have to click on the color option below the main picture:
Dupioni Silk Pole Pocket Drape | Pottery Barn
But it would be best to find silk drapes in the color of the fourth example picture you love so much.
Rug options:
Paris Diamond Rug | Pottery Barn
Thyme Persian-Style Rug | Pottery Barn

Depending on which carpet you like best, I'll find fabric options for the chair.
