I agree with the others; they're way too large for that wall. Even one of them by itself is too wide for that space...and they definitely should not be above the door opening. If you must have something on that wall, go with something more in proportion.
As for the table, I've never seen anything like that -- cool! Yes, the thermostat is in the way. I would put either a picture above the table in the middle, next to the thermostat (as if the thermostat isn't even there); - or - put a high vase on the left side of the table and then some lower frames along the rest of the table toward the thermostat.
Any way you could put them on a diagonal and skirt the thermostat? i.e say left one is the highest then a bit lower in the middle and then the right one the lowest? Or vice versa?
The other wall isn't big enough for those either. I would put one of those on the wall above the shoe thing and put the rest in storage.
I think the general rule is not to put anything on a wall that is less than 3' wide. With your family pictures over the cupboard in the foyer, which should look nice, I think it would be way too much if you hang those 3 pictures around the corner too.
I love the pictures and the presentation on the wall.
