Recliner with pillows? Add or not? (color, undertones, living room, leather)

Hi guys! We are moving to a new home and are very excited.. We are looking to but furniture for our living room.

My hubby wants recliners, the leather kind, so we might be getting creamish color sofa, loveseat and a chair.. And i was wondering whether i can add some pillows on them or will it be too much? Perhaps something undertones of orangish.. What do u guys think?

if you are worried it will take up too much room on the seat chair and make it look too "full" then why not use a blanket throw. that will add color without much fluff

We always have used throws on leather and recliners...pillows are too bulky and end up on the floor.
