I just recently move to my new house, my living room still empty, i'm still trying to figure out how to design my living room, i like it because it is pretty spacious. I also attach pictures of my living room, please help me design my living room.
How you will arrange furniture will depend on where you can put the TV, if you intend to have one. Does one wall have a place for the TV?
I also note that the carpet is a gray brown, a cool tone. I like the hardwood in the kitchen too. The cooler tone of the carpet would indicate that you could furnish your home with warm tones, which would look nice with the cooler gray of the carpet and white of the walls.
Once you know where the TV goes, you can figure out everything else.
But, it is helpful to know how you want to use the room. TV watching? Music listening? Office? Bookcases for reading material? Entertaining? How you furnish it depends on how you see yourself using it. But in general, the placement of the TV dictates most of it. If you have to put your TV on a specific wall, that that is a decision you don't have to make.
I guess I am telling you that you need to give us more info about what you want from the room.
Placement of the TV is restricted to one wall. You don't want it on the side of the stairs since it's in a traffic area. Too many people waking in front of it. The wall opposite has a window. Left of the front door is optimal. that leads to seating placement being against the short wall between the dining area and living room.

Big assumption there.
I think you are referring to my earlier post. Many times there are jacks on a specific wall that require you to put your TV in that spot, or to pay to have new jacks put in. Sometimes this isn't an issue, but with the newer TVs, there probably is. Most of us would go ahead and put the TV where the wall connections for a TV are. That's what I was trying to say in my earlier post.
