In the right space it could be quite distinctive but I suspect the longer term utility / cleanliness of it gives it limited appeal. Un-peeled twigs / branches tend to break down...

Could you spray it with some type of clear coat to harden/ preserve it? It looks cool.
Actually I don't have this in my house but would love to. Our home is arts and crafts and I think it would fit in. I found this picture and wanted to share. I think it is probably made by an artist and for sale. I'll try to find where I saw it. I think it could be made fairly easily if the wood was properly treated.

That really is cool. I'd want white birch, crepe myrtle or some other decorative branches if I were going to make one. I think if it's sealed it would stay clean and last a long time. It certainly would be a conversation piece. It wouldn't go with my "decor" but it would be very cute out on the deck where I could hang bar-b-tools (nice and high where the dogs can't reach them), or something off of it. Thanks for sharing!
