My husband's favorite chair is a large leather lazy boy recliner (that does not look like a recliner when it is upright). We bought it about 8 years ago and it functions perfectly and looks great - the leather is beautiful.
thanks for all this info .......... but now i say this with a chuckle not rude....... HEY there is no Y in La Z Boy . lol most of you added a y........... and so did I when i was trying to google it lol until i was surpised there is no Y
LOL. It is true there is no Y. I haven't had any issues googling it though, comes right up.
I bought lazyboy furniture, probably mid range price. since the furniture is custom made unless you get a floor model they sometimes sell at a discount.. take the floor model. The reason is - the furniture you sit on in the store and feels right, will not feel like that because your custom made furniture is new, and it will feel different. you might be disappointed.
also Lazy Boy used to be excellent, but it is not so much anymore. Once you buy a chair or something, you cannot return it, even if it breaks down a few months later.
If you do decide to buy Lazyboy, stick your hand in back of the seat cushion, push it down with your hand, and see if you can feel exposed wood. if you can feel it, and if there is too much room where you can stick your hand this will give you an indication of how your furniture will feel in a few months when it squishes down from you sitting on it.
thank you for all this info. this is the sofa its called the Eden and I want the Zebra print fabric

Thanks also for telling me about the discount you say at least a 10 percent what is the max you can ask....
Kit, I just want to point out that the built in chaise may limit where you place the sofa in a room. If you do not like to rearrange things often and do not plan to move for a long time, that may never be an issue.
Just something to consider.
