Due to lack of space in the storage room of my building, one bike now currently sits in my LR or on the door hang. That's my latest design update. My five year plan includes moving out of this city!

I had some drama like that when I lived in Germany in a walk up apartment. My foyer area looked like a thrift shop.

Way cool.

Oh, I thought of one...

I bought some screw on plastic tops pop bottles, for self watering plants. You fill up a plastic pop bottle with water, screw on the plastic, cone shaped top, invert the bottle and stick the cone into the planter. It gradually empties the water into the plant.

A bright yellow owl planter. My daughter gave me a spider plant "baby" to plant in it.

Here it is closed:

And here it is loaded with all the flatware that I mentioned in Post #135.

As you can see, I have a lot of it to feed our army when they come for Christmas. Much of it (in the bottom drawer) has never been used before-and the top drawer stuff are fairly new themselves.

Yup-I was just staring at it and loving the box and its contents. lol.

You can also see the knives that I also mentioned in my previous post.

(BTW, the box cost more then everything inside. )

I know how happy this box of flatware make you feel! I hope it all sees many happy family gatherings.

We were able to secure a small storage unit in the basement. Not for bikes, obviously, but it fits most of my camping gear. Thankfully, because I have been acquiring a lot of crap for my camping trips.

I'm all about not having a lot of crap, but riding a bike is about the only healthy thing I do besides walking and not having a place to put it sucks. I have a bike hook for a door but it's pretty obnoxious with the bike on it and it really takes up the foyer/office/whatever you'd like it to be. Hopefully someone's bike disappears off of a hook one day and I can put mine on there.
