I hope some of our sewers can help.
DD bought some beautiful yellow horizontal chevron fabric to use as curtains in the new granddaughter's nursery.
I did the thread pull to determine the grain, and discovered that the chevrons aren't printed with the grain.
So....do I cut the curtain pieces to go with the chevrons? Won't the pieces hang crooked?
Or cut the pieces to go with the grain? Which means the chevrons will be going up or down slightly?
Help!!

There isn't enough info to tell you for sure.
Is it cotton, or a blend, or what? Is there a lot of give in the fabric?
If you cut with the grain, would the pattern look funny? Will the curtains be gathered open most of the time?
I think if it's a tightly woven fabric, cutting with the chevrons straight will probably be OK.

Prewash first so it doesn't go all wonky if you ever launder them later. What a shame it is not printed with the grain. If it was expensive I would return it with a complaint.
