No.
It's not generally (IMO) a good idea to have a tv in your bedroom.
Messes with your sleep and your sex life.

I prefer other forms of entertainment!

As noted prior, a TV in the bedroom is a bad idea.

We do have one, but we hardly ever watch it. Funny, because we used to watch it all the time. We would typically go to bed about 10pm and watch until the news was over. On Sunday mornings we would read the paper and watch the morning news shows.
Our habits have changed, DH says he can't get comfortable to watch in bed, and his job has made us very early to bed and very early to rise. We DVR almost everything to watch earlier in the evening these days. Anyway, I expect it is only a matter of time until we stop paying for the extra TV in the bedroom.

Intellectuals don't have TVs in their houses at all. We must not be intellectual because there is a TV in every room in our house. We rarely turn on the TVS other than the one in the family room. My husband will go to the bedroom if I'm watching something when a football or hockey game starts. He watches TV more than me. When he is out of town, I won't turn it on for days. The bedroom TV was nice when I had school aged children. I wouldn't need to get out bed to check school closings in the winter. Of course, that was the days before computers. Today it's faster to check the computer than the TV for school closings. Our bedroom TVs pretty much collect dust.

Yes, we have a tv in our bedroom and in each guest bedroom. As a matter of fact, we just recently added a cable package to that room. Your decision to have tv in your bedroom should be based on how you live. I enjoy having the tv on while I get dressed in the morning and when we have house guests, I can watch without disturbing anyone else in the house.

I believe it is true that it an can cause sleep disturbances maybe add some distance in relationships IF YOU LET IT. Just having a tv does not mean you must turn it on. That being said, I am not sure if I would sacrifice a bedroom closet for one.

I like to be able to watch the morning news. It is a mid-sized flat panel tv and does not detract from the look of out otherwise nice furniture.

I would NEVER recommend giving up any closet space in a bedroom and would highly recommend considering other alternatives. If you decide to list your home for sale it would be foolish not to re-convert any closet space to intended use!

Dude. You should get one like in the last hotel I was at - a tv in the bathroom mirror. Like it was seamlessly in the mirror. That was pretty cool and you don't give up any space.
