So I have a faux balcony over the porch and every time it rains, water collects and starts dripping from the center down on the porch. Since the water is collected it takes a day or two for the drops to stop falling. Any ideas on how to fix/prevent rainwater from collecting or even if it drained from the side as opposed to the center would help.
The top has to have slope. Sounds like its flat or concave- not good. The longer it holds water the more severe the damage can become.
agreed. and unfortunately it is pretty common for builders to ignore flashing, sloping, etc. on "decorative" features.
