I have been everywhere looking for an old style screw top lamp shade and guess what most of them are a either too big and exspensive or just plain exspensive ...and I looked at a gazillion thrift stores and still nothing and I have check ebay and amazon nothing absoloutly nothing ...
Home Goods, quality consignment stores (not thrift shops), yard sale or craigs list (buy a lamp you don't like for cheap with the perfect shade, donate or toss the lamp), Habitat for Humanity Restore. We have something called Freecycle.org in Massachusetts. Ecology minded people can offer up things they can't or don't want to sell or donate for people to pick up. I've given away as well as received perfectly good secondhand things. You can also make a request. Someone may have something hiding in an attic that is perfect for what you need.
okay I will say this I never had a lamp shade for this lamp and I have been looking for one . I will never ever buy another lamp w/o a shade from now on LOL too hard to find them .
