I think my next project is to have the only wallpaper that I have left in my house stripped. It's in a small bathroom, so it probably won't be too bad.
Oh, that's beautiful! Did you design it or did someone else design it?
I think it would be fun to design some fabric, but there are so many designs there from others, that I never have. I can picture the curtains I want to make for my kitchen, but cannot find it what I want anywhere. That one is sort of close, so we'll see.
Since we are getting some decent spring weather here in Colorado, I thought I would tackle the front yard and spruce it up a bit.
The first picture is what the area looked like from the previous home owners. Needless to say, they never did much to the front yard.
The second picture is a work in progress. You can see the top layer still needs to be completed as well as some of the blocks in the corner. I just need to cut the blocks to the proper angles so that the top layer is nice and smooth without any gaps. Then, in about a month, we will plant some nice bushes and flowers. What do you all think?
We are converting a badly used small family room into an office. The family room was mostly junk - slowly filling up new file cabinets and drawers and getting rid of the "junk". Next is back yard work.

I think it looks great.
Denver. Winter. freeze/thaw and heaving. Glue those together once you have all the cuts made. I've had a number of these in Iowa and those that were either glued on the top/bottom, or held together on the back with anchors, screws, and pipe strap lasted for years. The one with anchors and pipe strap lasted 25 years and still looked good when we moved.

Pipe strap.
Thanks!! I have everything glued down except for the top row. I basically built the wall completely and made sure everything was level and secure. I then tore it down and applied construction adhesive designed for landscape block and concrete and rebuilt it.
