For inexpensive posters, I like to have them dry mounted because it keeps them smooth. Then I mat and frame them. The mat gives it a nice display and keeps the poster from touching the glass. For nicer quality giclees, I like to attach those to an acid free backing board, then mat and frame. The gallery wrap canvases are a great idea, also. Most print companies offer these now.

Anything on paper needs to be framed. It can be a fancy frame with double or even triple mats or just something simple which wouldn't be fancy at all, but it needs a frame. Not only does it look better, but it protects the artwork.

I frame almost all my art work from paintings to prints. as we all know that after a while up on your wall when displaying your art it can become faded or damaged. most of the frames I use are shadow boxes that are air tight. This ensures protection.
