Looks great! The open shelving above the fridge is a clever touch. Even with cabinets, it's not generally that useful space, so I like that you got some design punch out of it.

Very nice! It's amazing how much less orange your floors look when you got rid of the yellow walls and those cabinets.

We actually had all the flooring refinished to get rid of the orange and make sure the new floor in the kitchen matched the old floor. We had them done with an oil modified water base so that they would stay the color they are now and not get orange again since I hated color!

The counter top is sort of a cream/gray with flecks of brown. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I don't LOVE it, but I didn't love anything else I saw either. Except for soapstone, but that was out of our budget and really darker than what we wanted anyway.
