Thought my neighbor was kidding me so the next trip to the big box store I looked and sure enough.
KOHLER | Nightlight

Not quite sure how I have lasted this long with the Blinding overhead lighting.

I could so totally get on board with this. I'd be singing, "Yoooou light up my liiiiiiife" while piddling! I mean, I already do that, but now it would make sense.

I used to have one of the Kohlers as a painting client. I never used their bathroom, ironically!

LOL @ K'ledgBldr

I like the idea of the night light in the seat, I keep a nightlight on in the bathrooms so I don't have to turn a light on.

I'm not sure I'd buy a nightlight toilet seat but I definitely use a nightlight in the bathroom as par for the course. If I turned on the overhead lights I'd end up being awake for the next 2-3 hours before I could fall asleep again.

I could see it being a benefit to households where toilet seats are routinely left up in the middle of the night, though!

I'm having trouble with my left knee lately, so every time I go to sit on the throne, I end up plopping down rather ungracefully, usually with a loud, "Oooof!" accompanying my actions. (Invite me over. I'm charming!) I would end up with glass shards in my 'netherlands' with a light up toilet!

What I could really, really use is a toilet seat with a set of hands that gently guides my hiney down onto the seat. I wonder when someone's going to manufacture one of those?!

You could always get a toilet seat with the handholds on the side to lower yourself onto the seat. I know they do them for potty training seats for kids so I'd be very surprised if they didn't have them for adults, too!
