Hey guys,
Just painted first coat of medium gray to our basement walls and now find it tad too dark. What if I just painted a very light version of my color as my second coat? Any other options? I really want to avoid the (prime + 2 coat) route with the lighter color. Thanks!

You won't know until you try-

Try a small 2X2 area. If it covers, rock on! If it doesn't; well...

First apply it in a small area, then look whether it works or not, then do the further process with the complete wall otherwise don't move forward.
