So, seeing that I'm having panic attacks over this (Whyyyyy) Here's the conundrum; what colour trim. The floor is making this very painful; if it was all blonde maple i'd just go with something super bold, but I don't want to fight with the floor and wall colours.
I greatly dislike solid creams and beiges, by the way.
:::shrug:::
But that already looks like cheap trim... paint isn't changing that.
What about pulling a color from the floor and staining wood trim?
Fair enough on the trim... Part of the issue is I'm on a tight budget (Read as, I have $20 right now...) So that is what I have.
Very conflicting ideologies, I know, but workable (That floor, at just under 400 Sq. Feet, was $400, and is all solid hardwood... My paint costs have been $20, and rewiring the whole place was $100. The entire subfloor and floor joists are new as well...)
With everything else screaming for attention in that room, I agree with K'ledgeBldr
