It stands about 4 and half feet tall. I don't need a tv stand though.

gosh I just know there are some fantastic ideas but my mind went blank. I love watching Flea Market Finds and seeing how they refurbish things. Did you google refurbishing wood tv stand?
I'll think on this and post again.

That is adorable! Unfortunately, I don't know anyone that could use it.

I did google entertainment units and tv stands, but most were for larger units. This one is only approx 4ftx4ish ft wide. I measured it.

that's a possible.

I definitely want to paint it or something. This was a surprise from my son. He found it in someones garbage.

It's on wheels so that's what I love about it.

definitely shabby chic it or sand it down good and paint it. Is there a light in the glass side? If not you might add one and display collectibles or such. And yes as ByeByeLW said--baskets for storage!!

To me this screams, "Paint me, put a shelf in my big side, and use me for towel and bath storage!"

No paint, add one or two shelves on the big side use for books (if you also add a back), linens in an extra bedroom or bathroom,
craft supplies, fabric storage, baskets for gloves, hats, scarves, entry table obviously using the top for keys, put a basket for mail (incoming and outgoing), a collection display shelf, dishes that are not used often, specialty dishes that are not used often but pretty enough to display, DVD's, CD's, photo albums.
