I absolutely LOVE IT! Wow, it's gorgeous.

I like that chair in the corner. Maybe you just need a taller lamp on a different table. Or a slim standing lamp. Or something really cool and funky hanging in the corner!

You did a fantastic job. That plum and gray are delicious together.

Thanks! I'm definitely looking for a taller lamp or a taller table. The table I have there isn't really a table at all, it's a sculpture of a tree stump that I got on clearance at Z-Gallerie for $15 and I just placed some glass on it. I did that to put it next to a different chair in our last house, but I just love that stump sculpture and I'm determined to use it somewhere in my house.

I'm trying to find a floor lamp, but I'm feeling too cheap to buy anything right now after buying the furniture for that room. I'm sure I'll find one eventually.

It is pretty much impossible to see in the pictures but there is purple in the curtains. I wish the purple was a little darker and even though it sounds crazy I am considering using a dye pen to make it darker since there isn't a ton of it. We'll see if I ever get bored enough to actually do it.

This is the fabric I used:

It was the best thing I could find at the stores in the area and was too impatient to wait.

As for our master bedroom, it is just okay right now. I haven't done anything to it except to put the furniture in it that we had in our last house. Someday I'll get around to really decorating it though...

Very nice job. I really like the chair in the corner. I need to get something like that for my guest room.

I made a decorating mistake cause I was in a hurry. I bought a headboard that turns out to be VERY large. It works but it isn't what I thought it would be. It also has really annoying sharp corners that I keep bumping when I make the bed. Luckily they are lower down so you can't really get hurt unless you are making the bed.

I like the curtains and the bed cover. The paint and bed cover look great together!
