Odds are good if the house is 1100 sq ft the next owner will either tear it down or add on. Layout won't be an issue for resale.

I think we both live in areas where that is quite common but have to remember there are places with modest houses and local R.E. values haven't appreciated enough to make the lot far more valuable than the structure, or where adding on will be able to be recouped in the future.

I don't really care as long as the price is right. I understand the master bedroom of the house and all but for children and guest that is another thing. Personally I do not like the idea of an place where I do my bowl movements being too close to my sleeping area. Sewage might be a problem as well; as my bathroom exprience has blockage and bs due to various things.
