Just painted a room last week, and it was fine. The fumes were a problem though. I'm in MN and I have the heat on 74, how can you stand it?

LOL! You're supposed to paint in the winter, because all Spring/Summer/Fall you're outside...

My parents always drummed it into my head that you "work outside while you can" (grew up in SE Michigan) ... now that I've moved further South (Cinci) the early Springs and Late Falls mean that the inside work I need to do gets compressed into about 3 months..

which means a lot of carryover year to year.

Last January/February painted two rooms. Hopefully this January/February I get the m.bedroom painted. I keep the daytime temps in the house at 64 (while we're normally at work). Should be fine for the paint, though the painter might find it a bit chilly.

One of my space heaters is spattered with paint for a reason.

Typically I'll crack open the window, put a fan in the room and crank up the space heater to speed up drying time.
