It was purchased about 3 years ago from possibly Lowes. We're not 100% sure about it being from Lowes but we're pretty sure.

It won't swivel anymore so we're trying to identify the company so we can contact them. We first thought it was a Delta and contacted them and they were willing to help us but after seeing a pic of the faucet they said it actually wasn't a Delta.

Anyway any help is appreciated.

Here is the pic:

It looks very similar to a faucet I had but not exactly the same. Look closely on the base on the left side and see if you can see an etched/painted in white triangle with an "s" in it. If it won't swivel to allow you to look take a hand mirror and look all around. If it is, it is called Amerisink. I had a new kitchen put in and the pullout shot off within 13 months. The people at Amerisink were very helpful. Give it a try. They are in California, I didn't have the model number but through photos and phone converstions they were able to identify it and send me a part. Here is the link, you may have an older model. Good luck.

Could be

American Standard Edgemere Chrome 1-Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet

It obviously cost less than $100. Just toss it and buy a replacement.

Looks just like Home Depot's Glacier Bay kitchen faucet.

Not worth trying to fix- replace it with a good brand name faucet.

Wow. Thanks everyone.

My mom says she would not have bought a cheaper model. She would have purchased one of the better brands.

I'm going to check some of these suggestions out. Heck, why buy a new one, if this one can be fixed?...nothing wrong with it except it doesn't swivel and that should be fixable...hopefully.

Thanks again.

It resembles a Moen that's in my kitchen. Maybe that's it?

Thanks. I'll give Moen a try too.

What I'm going to have to do is just contact each company and send them my pic and see if it is their brand.

I've got a list of a few companies and their phone numbers that I'll call on Monday.

That's exactly it. Yay!!!!

Moen was the first company I contacted today. I asked for a email to send in a pic. The girl that answered the phone gave me her email and she looked at it while I was on the phone and she verified that it was indeed a Moen - model number 87666.

Moen is sending (free of course) my mom the part that won't swivel and it should be an easy fix they say. I guess that part has the o'rings. They offer tech support too if need help installing.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I was going to call each company but l'm glad it was the first company I called.

Glad it worked out for you - Moen does have great customer service that way.
